ASK Resource Center is a "one-stop-shop" for families of children and young adults with disabilities across the state of Iowa. Through various projects and partnerships, ASK provides a broad range of information, training, advocacy, support, and referral related to the needs of individuals with all types of disabilities. A single contact to ASK will provide individuals and families a direct link to the most appropriate resources, services, and supports to meet their needs regarding special education, health care coordination, disability rights, mentoring opportunities, and more. ASK began as a support group almost 20 years ago and has been a non-profit agency since 1998.

ASK is a family-driven organization staffed and overseen by people with an immediate personal connection to an individual with disability.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We serve the entire state of Iowa, across the lifespan and disability.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one central office, but serve all 99 counties.

ASK is located just off of Merle Hay Road in Johnston, north of I-80/35. From I-80/35, exit at Merle Hay Rd. and head north on Merle Hay Road to Pioneer Parkway and head west. Travel one block west to Greendale Road and head north. ASK is located at 5665 Greendale Road, Suite D, inside the Hansen Corporation Building on the east side of Greendale Road.
What type of payments do you accept?
ASK provides services at no cost whatsoever; however, as a grant funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we accept donations. Donations can be made by mail, in-person, or online at www.askresource.org/donate. All donations are tax deductible.

All 99 counties in the state of Iowa.

8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday; however, our staff provide training and support outside of our "normal" hours of operation.
